Happy Monday Beast!
So it seems like this quarantine is here to stay at least until the end of April & possibly longer tbh.
Gym training won't be an option for a while (maybe until the end of the year) so we gotta attack our home workouts efficiently.
From experience with clients and myself these are the exercises you should FOCUS on while working out at home:
Upper Body:
- Push Ups & Dips
- Pull Ups & Inverted Row
- Planks & any leg raise
Lower Body:
- Lunges
- Squats
- Step Ups
- Glute Bridges
There are many more exercises you can do but mastering these as your foundation in your next 30 days should be your goal.
I didn't include any advanced exercises because you need to master good form on the basics.
If you think push ups have gotten too easy try this:
- Start on a plank push up position
- Squeeze your chest muscles
- Brace your abs
- Squeeze your glutes to create tension
- And lower down with control all the way until your chest hits the floor
- Then push up
What you will realize is that by adding this much tension the exercise got 10X harder & now you can only do half or even less reps than you were able to before.
All this extra tension will make sure that you are doing push ups properly & activating the muscles you should be firing up.
