Yo Beast!
Hope your day morning is going as amazing as you look because those arms are looking DANGEROUS! (All those push ups are paying off & those shirts are looking a little too tight now ;)
I am about to go do 10 sets of hill
sprints to start the day but before that I do that I wanted to share 3 simple habits to do every morning in order to build muscle.
These are secrets I wish I knew back when I was super skinny, lost & confused on my muscle building journey back when I was 21.
But
you don't have to suffer like I did so let's kick off this Muscle Build Monday properly!
- Drink 2-3 glasses of water: Our bodies are made out of 70% water and we have been dehydrated all night so waking up & drinking water is crucial to start the day in the most anabolic way possible.
- Do a short morning workout: It can be as simple as 25 push ups & 25 squats or doing 5-10 sprints like I am about to do. It will prime your muscles, wake you up with a nice pump & put your mindset into building muscle mode.
- Do 50-100 Deep belly breaths: I learned this from my mentor Elliott Hulse. We have all heard the benefits of meditation so this is a form of mediation itself &
it's a simple way to bring you back your body into an anabolic state. Basically if you wake up feeling rushed & anxious you are in a catabolic state & these belly breaths will help you put yourself in a state of relaxation which is the anabolic state you wanna be in order to build more muscle.
Honestly if at any point you feel stressed & anxious do some belly breathing & you will feel much more relaxed
& clear minded afterwards. I do this a lot when someone cuts me off while I drive. (I am not gonna let this people distract me from being in muscle building mode by making me angry - I am in control!)
