I am currently
packing since I'll be driving to Sin City in a few hours.
They say what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas but that's assuming I do something I regret like getting married to a stripper, lol
If something goes down I'll be sure to tell you - we are a family & we share no secrets here
;)
In order to stay fit, mobile & agile during my 5-6hr drive I will be mini workouts throughout my drive.
Or snaking as I like to call it.
I will be snacking on push ups, squats,
lunges, dips and pull ups (If there is somewhere to hang) throughout my drive.
And if you are someone who drives a lot for a living I highly recommend you do this too:
- Every stop you can make get on the floor and do 1 set of push ups.
- On your next break do 1 set of
squats
- And so on.
This will keep you mobile & will keep you mentality on attack mode.
In fact this is what I used to do when I worked for a car rental company & had to drive 8+hrs a day. I didn't have time to go to the gym so I relied on these mini workouts throughout the day.
Sometimes I would drive to playgrounds & use the monkey bars & sometimes I would use rocks (I would pick them up for squats & overhead presses)
These workouts were raw, didn't follow rules but they kept me strong & energetic while everyone else the car rental company
looked tired & life-less by the end of their driving shifts.
Most people only rely on 30min-1hr workout sessions as their workouts but not us.
We are resourceful & when we can't get a 1hr workout session in we don't make excuses.
We snack on workouts throughout the day in order to keep ourselves strong & muscular!
If you are not snacking yet, I encourage you to start today.
While at your job or at the grocery store - find something that you
can use to workout with & do a few reps.
I guarantee that you will feel amazing!
Alright, time for me to start driving & snack my way to Vegas!
