As summer approaches we all want to make our abs to pop!
And while you need to drop body fat in order to reveal your abs - you also need to get your core strong in order to
develop it's musculature.
Aside from dragon flags; planks are fantastic to strengthen your core.
And today I am gonna share 2 fun plank challenges you can do right away at home or at the gym.
These are brutal. Add one of them to the end of your workout as a finisher & feel your core fire up like crazy!
#1) Weighted Plank Challenge:
10 sec plank & add 45 pounds every 10 seconds
Have a nice partner like I did stack the plates on top of you - watch the video to see what I am talking about

We actually held a 15 second plank when we had 4 plates so play around with the time to have some fun ;)
#2) 2 Min Plank Hold Challenge:
Forearm Plank x 30 seconds
Arm Extended Plank x 30 seconds
1 Arm Plank (Left Side) x 30
seconds
1 Arm Plank (Right Side) x 30 seconds
Those 1 arm planks are killer!
I did this after finishing up a long push up session so my core was already fried & this killed it even more.
Goal for this one would be to finish the 2 min first & then try to see if you can hold each position for 1 min. That's gonna be brutal!
