Hope Everyone had a fun Easter!
Yesterday I talked about how great sweet potatoes are for your digestive system.
And the less digestive problems you have (i.e. no stomach pains or
bloating)
The more efficiently your body can focus on sending nutrients to your muscles.
(And I know its not sexy to talk about digestion but it is crucial to build muscle efficiently & fast)
Today I am sharing 2 super simple recipes you can cook with sweet potatoes so let's
start:
#1) Sweet Potato Fries
- Throw a cup of coconut oil into a pan
- Chop 1 or 2 sweet potatoes into the pan
- Add cinnamon
- Cook until you can split the sweet potatoes with a spatula easily
This
is my favorite recipe & you can try to add any spices to it but I really like the cinnamon since it reminds me of dessert.
#2) Sweet Potato Toast
- Slice potatoes about 1/4 thick
- Bake in a preheated 350°F oven for 15-25 minutes or until potatoes are tender but not cooked all the way through
- Remove from oven
- Let them cool & put them in the fridge for when you want them
- Add them to a toaster
- Top them with whatever you want (This is your new bread)
Seriously this toast is great if you wanna ditch regular bread for a while.
You can also just bake the sweet potato & eat it like that so choose the option you want.
Give them a try & let me know how much you like them ;)
Also my buddy Dave AKA the "The Muscle Cook" hooked it up & he gave me 10 muscle recipes of his own. You can download them here for free or click the book below.
