I was very sore after doing that many L-sits while filming that video & something I learned is that your shoulder positioning makes the L-sit easier or harder.
- If you use an overhand grip it makes pulling up harder as you keep your hips
up.
- If you use an underhand or neutral grip (like in parallel bars) it is easier to pull up with an L-sit.
Both are still a challenge but that's something to keep in mind while doing this great ab exercise.
If you can't L-sit simply do knee raises & kick one leg out
at a time. Slowly over time you'll be able to do a full L-sit
Aside from dragon flags L-sits are one of the best core exercises out there & I believe everyone should incorporate them in their workouts; They will get your core
stronger.
Add a Luis-Sit next time you do pull ups or dips & I guarantee your abs will be sore the next day ;)
