Well, what else Are You Gonna Do?

This morning I was walking around the gym and a lady asked me:
Give me 3 reasons why I should continue running?
She was running on a treadmill, was tired & wanted to just leave, but here she was hoping that I could say something to motivate her & keep going
And I did, simply told her:
Well, What else are you gonna do?
She stood there in awe without words & said thank you with a big smile...then I just walked away
I could have told her a bunch of facts as to why exercise is good for you & blah blah blah, but this simple statement made her stop & think
It was all that she needed to hear to hear to keep going
It's a simple question but if you ever ask yourself that when dealing with a difficult situation or procrastination...it pretty much puts you against a wall & makes you feel guilty if you decide to do something less productive
It makes you see ahead in your day and think about your actions so you make more productive decisions
This question makes you think a lot more critically & gets you to rationalize about your current choices
And I want to invite you to use this technique the next time you train & are on the verge of giving up or whenever you are dealing with a difficult situation that is getting boring or you just don't wanna continue but know it's gonna help you in the long run
It will help you to push trough & continue
Give it a go & notice how this simple question makes you re-evaluate your time, so you can stop thinking about what you could do & just do it!
