The Only 2 ways to Workout

That's right! The way I view your training is that there are only 2 ways to workout...

Before you delete this message, hear me out. Take a second to see if you agree with my view about training.

You see, there's a ton of people out there in internet land talking about unique "NEW" methods of training that are supposedly revolutionizing the fitness industry!

On the other hand you have some tried and true strength coaches preaching the basics over and over again.

So who's right? What is the TRUTH?

Well... Here's the TRUTH as I have come to see it...

Here are the only 2 ways to train!

WAY #1 - Move Your Body Better

If there's anything I have come to know for certain it is that BETTER MOVEMENT=BETTER LOOKING BODY!

Athletes have proven this over the centuries that he (or she) who moves best usually has the physique to match.

Learning to discover intrinsic control over your own body is the ROOT OF ALL FITNESS!

And I'm not just talking about basic bodyweight training. I'm talking about intelligently designed movement progressions.

Workouts and sequences of bodyweight based exercises that develop more complex control of your motor patterns.

Things like handstands, muscle ups, ring work, L sits, one leg squats, various jumping movements and explosive pushups, one arm chin work, complex bridging and more!

This is the first type of training... Move your body better!!!

WAY #2 - Move External Objects Better

If mastering complex bodyweight movement patterns is way #1 then learning to move external objects with more power, strength, speed, balance and control is way #2.

I'm not talking about being married to a paradigm about being a kettlebell follower or an olympic lifter or even a power bodybuilder. I'm talking about learning how to control external objects better with your body.

Things like snatches, presses, turkish get ups, odd object lifting, dumbbells, kettlebells, barbells and more!

It's not about the object you choose but rather the degree of external control you are able to move it with.

As Far As I Am Concerned This Is
The Only 2 Ways To Train!

So where does that leave you?

It should leave you with a profound respect for movement. For striving to become just a little bit better each day. For using your mind/body connection to enrich the way you look, feel and perform.

This is why I train with progressive movement, this is why I developed progressive based workout systems that cover, in detail, these 2 ways to train. And this is the message I live to spread to YOU!
