Force Your Lazy Muscles to Wake Up!

What is up beasts!
I just got done with a quick little workout of squats, pull ups, push ups & bridges...and I feel awesome!
Like I told you yesterday, I was coaching my friend during the deadlift & told him to tighten up his body in order to create full body tension but he couldn't do it!...his muscles were being "lazy" & couldn't activate them even though he was concentrating on it..
After that I told him to push the ground and that immediately helped to create tension, but he could have activated his muscles a lot earlier if he had done these 2 exercises:
Glute Bridges & Planks
Your core & glutes get lazy& turn off due to imbalances and bad habits like watching too much tv causing you to slouch & round your shoulders overtime or driving too musch which messes up your hips due to bad posture while sitting or driving with only 1 hand (like I do)
So in order to turn them on we must do activation exercises
And by far I have found that doing glute bridges & planks during the wam up makes me a lot tighter, stronger & mobile
Just adding these 2 exercises for 3-5 20sec holds will make a huge difference on how you feel when doing barbell exercises & advanced calisthenics
Give them a try next time you train & you'll feel a lot stronger! + you'll finally comprehend what tighten up your glutes & abs really feels like!
